On May 2 Everest turned 3!!! I can't believe it. Of course we celebrated with a birthday party. On Saturday Everest got his big present from me... a John Deere Powerwheels. It was hilarious to watch him drive it. He didn't really drive in a straight line at all, and he white knuckled the steering wheel the whole time. He was so focused on driving that he seemed stressed out by it... but he was determined and kept on going back to it. He pretty much drove it around the yard the entire day. Sunday was Everest's birthday party. It was a blast. Everest's friends Mayson and Haley came over along with James and Wade Watson. Ev spent the majority of the day driving everyone around in his new powerwheels (which he was much more comfortable driving by sunday) and the rest of the day jumping on the trampoline, playing games, and throwing water balloons. When it got a little darker we built a fire and torched a few dried out christmas trees which produced 20ft flames! fun stuff. I think Everest had an awesome time. When i was a kid there was nothing like running around free all day with some buds.
